The city of Lahore needed Intensive Care facilities at a very large scale as only few hospitals have limited ventilator facilities for huge population. Serious patients due to diseases or accidents need transient life support on ventilators of ICU. Dow University established 100 bedded ICU to cater the needs of such patients. This state of the art huge unique facility is probably one of the largest in the region.

It is fully equipped with most updated and modern equipment, looked after by the trained staff. This ICU has different segments Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Special ICU for Liver transplant patients etc.
